Melissa was a College Intern with the State of Ohio DAS Employee Services where she learned Human Resource procedures before joining our team at V&P Hydraulic Products, LLC. Melissa is focusing on the development of the Human Resource division and looks forward to all other challenges as Office Manager. Melissa is an Olentangy High School graduate and attended Columbus State Community with a focus in Human Resource.

Delaware, Ohio (Sept. 15, 2008) --V & P Hydraulic Products, LLC is proud to announce the addition of Scott A. Thornsberry as Director of Operations. Mr. Thornsberry is a veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Air Assault. He has 17 years of industrial manufacturing experience. Mr. Thornsberry is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with certifications in ISO 10012: ISO 17025, ISO 9001/2000, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 4406, KAIZEN Management System and an Authorized OSHA Trainer. Mr. Thornsberry has been a Senior Deployment Champion of a Lean Management Enterprise program, which implemented companies new Ideal Manufacturing Process, Redesign production floor layout into flow process with supporting cellular manufacturing systems. Also eliminated non-value added activities while increasing productivity and throughput resulting in improved PPM’s. Mr. Thornsberry brings a strong cost base management style for overall business improvement. We welcome Mr. Thornsberry for a long partnership.
V&P Hydraulic Products to Expand Production, Business
with New Headquarters, Factory in Delaware, Ohio
DELAWARE, Ohio (Nov. 10, 2006) – V&P Hydraulic Products, a LEWIS Center, Ohio, manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders for heavy-duty machinery, has broken ground on a new headquarters and factory in suburban Columbus, Ohio.
Judd Scott, vice president and CFO of the 69-year-old family business, said they expect the new facility to be complete in the spring of 2007. V&P plans to move into the new facility as soon as construction is completed.
Scott said V&P’s new production facility will be located in a Delaware, Ohio, industrial park, near the Delaware County Airport. The location is two miles from Route 23, a main north-south artery in Ohio, providing V&P with easy access to Columbus, shipping partners and Port Columbus International Airport.
The facility, which will house both the administrative offices and the production facility, is 45,000 square feet. Scott said it can easily be expanded to 90,000 square feet.
The land purchase and construction of the facilities was brokered and coordinated by Onno Steger, vice president with Grubb & Ellis|Adena Realty Advisors, a Columbus-based commercial real estate brokerage, management, development and construction firm.
